At 1:30 am, at the end of Drucker Lane, U.S. Border Patrol Agents saw up to 30 Undocumented Immigrants, and started to detain them. Several ran back to the border and went into the tunnel. Many were detained above ground and several inside the 328-foot tunnel, which started on the Mexican side of the border at Calle Mar Bermejo in Tijuana, Mexico. Most were Mexican nationals, but there was some from other countries.
Mexican authorities are investigating on their side of the border to see who was responsible, and the U.S. Border Patrol is guarding this side at the exit. No drugs were found in the tunnel.
