Workers at the OxyHeal Medical Systems, at Hoover Ave and 33rd St. in National City, saw a woman walk down the embankment from eastbound Hwy 5. She started yelling at the employees in the parking lot, entered the parking lot and kicked over a large "fish statue' at the front entrance breaking it. She then made her way over to the parking area and picked up a large piece of concrete and left the property. She walked northbound on Hoover Ave and she threw the concrete into the windshield of a U-Haul type van. The suspect then walked back towards the original business and broke the windshields of two more vehicles on the street with the concrete.
The woman then left the area and was seen later at a Circle "K" store at Broadway and Chula Vista St. The suspect then headed south on Broadway, and as she passed a Jeep Cherokee on Broadway, she found a beer bottle and broke the windshield of it. Approx 1 hour later, this reporter went looking for the woman and found her crossing a bridge from Chula Vista to National City on National City Blvd. I called the NCPD and notified them of her location. CVPD officers then arrived and arrested the woman. Most of the owners of the vandalized vehicles have been notified.
